How do offers and counteroffers work?
An offer on ArcBase is a payment option that the listing author sets in advance: an ARC Raiders item, "Seeds" or "Credits". Your trade partner picks one of the offers. If the listing has "Ready to counteroffer" turned on, the partner can propose their own terms instead. The listing author decides whether to accept them.

How to add offers to a listing
- 1.
Start creating a listing and choose an item or service.
- 2.
Click "Add preferred offer".
- 3.
Add what you want to receive or give to the offer: an item, "Seeds" or "Credits".
- 4.
If you need more than one payment option, click "Add alternative offer".
- 5.
Decide whether to keep "Ready to counteroffer" turned on.
Below the form, the site sums up the terms. With the toggle on, it says: "They can also propose their own terms — you decide whether to accept." With it off: "No haggling: only your terms apply."
What does "Ready to counteroffer" mean?
The toggle lets your partner propose their own terms instead of only accepting yours. The hint next to the "i" icon says: "When enabled, sellers can propose their own terms instead of only accepting your listed offers." In a sell listing, it says "buyers" instead of "sellers".
If you turn the toggle off, your partner can only pick one of your offers.
A listing without offers is always open to counteroffers. While there are no offers, the toggle is on and cannot be turned off. The card of such a listing says "open to offers".
How do you propose your own price?
- 1.
Open the listing and click "Trade". You need to be signed in to do this.
- 2.
In the "Initiate trade" window, click "Add counteroffer".
- 3.
Build your offer: an item, "Seeds" or "Credits". To use an existing offer as a starting point, click the copy button next to it.
- 4.
Confirm the trade.

If there is no "Add counteroffer" button, the listing author does not accept counteroffers. In that case, pick one of the existing offers.
How is a counteroffer accepted?
The trade starts right away with your counteroffer. Details are discussed in the trade chat: a counteroffer has no description field. The listing author records the final terms in the contract. If they agree with the counteroffer, they send a contract with those terms. If they do not agree, they propose other terms in the chat or decline the trade.
What are the limits?
You can add an item, "Seeds" and "Credits" to an offer. You cannot include the same item or payment method twice in one offer.
An offer cannot include the same item that the listing is selling.
The quantity of an item or "Seeds" in an offer: from 1 to 1,000,000.
For a service, an offer can only include "Credits". Every service offer requires an "Offer description" of up to 200 characters.
A trade can have only 1 counteroffer.
There is no limit on the number of offers in a listing.
How do you find listings where you can haggle?
In the catalog, turn on the "Counteroffer" filter. Only listings where you can propose your own price remain.
