How does a trade work from start to finish?
A trade on ArcBase goes through 4 stages. You click "Trade" on a listing and start a trade. You agree on the details with your partner in chat. The listing owner sends a contract, and you sign it. After that, you transfer the items in ARC Raiders, and each side leaves a review.

How to complete a trade
Start a trade
- 1.
In the catalog, click "Trade" on the listing you want.
- 2.
Choose an offer or click "Add counteroffer" to propose your own terms.
- 3.
If the listing has bundles, choose how many bundles to take.
- 4.
Click "Initiate trade".
- 5.
Check the terms on the "Summary" screen and click "Agree, trade".

Agree in chat
- 1.
Click the "N active trades" panel at the bottom of the screen. The "Trades" tab opens.
- 2.
Select the trade. The "Trade chat" opens on the right.
- 3.
Discuss the terms, the time and the transfer method with your partner.

Send a contract (listing owner)
- 1.
In the trade chat, click "Craft contract".
- 2.
Choose an offer or create a new one based on what you agreed in chat.
- 3.
Set the "Contract quantity".
- 4.
Click "Send Contract".

Sign the contract (partner)
- 1.
In the trade chat, click "Review contract".
- 2.
Check the terms.
- 3.
Click "Sign & trade" or "Decline".

You have 3 minutes to review the contract. If you don't sign it in that time, it expires, and the owner has to send a new one.
Transfer the items in the game
After signing, your partner's Embark ID appears in the chat. Add your partner as a mate in ARC Raiders and transfer the items. The site doesn't confirm the transfer itself: reviews record the outcome.

Leave a review
- 1.
In the trade chat, click "Leave feedback".
- 2.
Choose "Positive" or "Negative".
- 3.
Write a comment: 5 to 2000 characters.
- 4.
Click "Send review".

When both sides have left a review, "Trade completed" appears in the chat.

How is a trade different from a contract?
A trade is the conversation and agreement with your partner. A contract is the final terms: what each side gives and in what quantity. The contract terms can differ from the offer the trade started with if you agreed on that in chat. A trade can have only 1 active contract at a time.
Who sends and who signs the contract?
The listing owner always sends the contract. The partner who clicked "Trade" signs it. You can't start a trade on your own listing.
Can I change the terms after the contract is sent?
You can't change a sent contract. The owner can click "Cancel contract" and send a new one. The partner can click "Decline", and then the owner sends a new contract.
How do Credits work in a trade?
If the contract includes Credits, the site reserves them from the buyer:
in a "Sell" listing — from the partner at the moment of signing;
in a "Buy" listing — from the owner at the moment the contract is sent.
The seller receives the Credits when the trade is completed. If the contract is declined or expires, the Credits are returned. If you don't have enough Credits, the site shows "Insufficient available balance.". The listing owner pays the fee: 10% of the Credits amount, minimum 1 Credit.
What trade statuses are there?
"Active" — the trade is in progress: you are negotiating in the chat or have already signed the contract.
"Completed" — both sides have left a review (or a review was created automatically), or an administrator resolved the dispute in the seller's favor.
"Declined" — one of the sides declined the trade before the contract was signed.
"Disputed" — a negative review was left on a contract with Credits, and the trade is waiting for an administrator's decision.
"Expired" — there were no messages in the trade for 7 days before the contract was signed.
"Failed" — an administrator resolved the dispute in the buyer's favor, and the Credits were returned.
What time limits does a trade have?
To sign the contract — 3 minutes.
After signing, to transfer and leave a review — 1 hour for items, 12 hours for services (or the completion time stated in the service). If you don't leave a review, the site creates one automatically and completes the trade.
If a trade without a contract has no messages for 7 days, it is closed due to inactivity.
