How are trades protected from scammers?
ArcBase protects trades in three ways. The contract locks in the terms, the buyer's Credits are reserved until the trade is complete, and every player's reputation and reviews are visible. If your partner cheated you in a trade with Credits, you can dispute the trade, and an administrator makes the decision. The site does not check item transfers in ARC Raiders, so record the exchange on video.

How does the contract protect a trade?
The listing owner drafts the contract: the item or service, the quantity, and the payment. The other participant reviews the terms and signs the contract with the "Sign & trade" button. Once the contract is signed, the terms cannot be changed. Only after signing do the participants see each other's Embark ID.
What happens to Credits during a trade?
The platform reserves the buyer's Credits. The seller receives them when both participants leave reviews. If there are no reviews, the trade completes automatically: for items, 60 minutes after the contract is signed; for services, later, when the service deadline passes. If the contract is canceled, declined, or expires, the Credits return to the buyer automatically.
If your partner cheated you, leave a negative review before the trade completes automatically. After completion, the site leaves a positive review on its own and transfers the Credits to the seller.
How do you check a partner before a trade?
Hover over the player's avatar in the listing. The player card opens:
"Level" grows with each successful trade. The color of the avatar frame shows the reputation level.
"Success Trades" is the share of trades with a positive review, for example "90% (9/10)". "N/A" means the player has no ratings yet.
"Avg response time" shows how fast the player responds to trades on their listings.
"Last online" shows when the player was last on the site.

What should you do if your partner cheated you?
- 1.
Leave a negative review with the "Send report" button. If the contract includes Credits, the trade gets the "Disputed" status.
- 2.
Click "Open dispute form" and send your evidence within 24 hours: a video of the exchange and chat screenshots.
- 3.
An administrator makes the decision. The Credits go to the seller or return to the buyer. The player at fault loses reputation.
Can you dispute a trade without Credits?
No. If the payment is only items or Seeds, a negative review does not open a dispute. The trade completes, and the negative review stays on your partner's profile. Before a trade without Credits, check your partner especially carefully.
Does ArcBase check item transfers in the game?
No. Items are transferred in ARC Raiders, and the site cannot see that. After the contract is signed, the site shows your partner's Embark ID and recommends recording the session. Record the exchange on video: the recording is the main evidence in a dispute.
