How do level and reputation work?

On ArcBase, every player has a level and a score. Your level grows with each completed trade and never drops. Your score is made up of reviews, activity, response speed and achievements. Check your own stats in your profile, and other players' stats in the window that appears when you hover over a player's name.

The ArcBase site header, an arrow points to the profile button

Where can I see level and stats?

  • Your own. Click the profile button in the site header. "Profile" shows "Level", "Success Trades", "Avg response time" and "Achievements".

  • Other players'. Hover over a player's name in a listing, in the trade list or in the trade chat.

The player info window: level and stats, "Success Trades" and "Avg response time" are circled

How does my level grow?

Your level grows with completed trades. The maximum level is 75. Examples:

  • level 2 — 2 trades;

  • level 3 — 5 trades;

  • level 5 — 14 trades;

  • level 10 — 52 trades;

  • level 20 — 171 trades.

Your level never drops. Declined, expired and failed trades don't raise your level.

What makes up the score?

The score is the sum of 4 parts, with a maximum of 180 points:

  • Quality — up to 100 points. The share of positive reviews. A new player starts at about 50 points. An automatic review carries half the weight of a regular one.

  • Activity — up to 50 points. Trades in the last 90 days. Repeat trades with the same partner carry less weight.

  • Response speed — up to 10 points. Replying within 5 minutes gives the maximum; replying after 24 hours or longer gives 0.

  • Achievements — up to 20 points. The share of unlocked achievements.

Large trades carry more weight than small ones. The score is recalculated once an hour.

Who are the "High score traders"?

These are the players with the highest score: 120 points or more and 25 or more completed trades. In the catalog, you can show their listings with the "High score traders" filter.

What does "Success Trades" mean?

It's the share of successful trades: for example, "90% (9/10)". Declined and expired trades, as well as open disputes, aren't counted. If there are no rated trades yet, it shows "N/A" instead of a percentage.

What does "Avg response time" mean?

It's the average time it takes a player to reply in the trade chat on their own listings. The site tracks it only for the listing owner. The metric appears after 5 measurements; until then it shows "N/A". If a player takes longer than 4 days to reply, it shows "Very slow".

What lowers the score?

  • Negative reviews. They don't expire.

  • A lost dispute: it counts as 2 negative reviews.

  • Slow replies in the chat on your own listings.

Declined and expired trades don't affect "Success Trades".

Reply quickly and see your trades through. It's the most reliable way to raise your score.
