What happens if my partner doesn't respond?
If your partner on ArcBase doesn't respond for 7 days, the trade closes on its own with the "Expired" status. A contract that the partner didn't sign within 3 minutes expires, and the reserved Credits are returned. If your partner goes silent after the contract is signed, the trade completes automatically. You don't have to wait: you can decline a trade that has no contract.
What happens to a trade with no response?
If there isn't a single message in the trade chat for 7 days, the site closes the trade. "Trade closed due to inactivity" appears in the chat, and the status changes to "Expired". The countdown starts from the last message. If there were no messages, it starts from the beginning of the trade. The site checks trades once an hour, so the closure may come up to 1 hour late.
A trade with an active contract isn't closed for inactivity: the contract expires first.
What happens to a contract the partner didn't sign?
You have 3 minutes to sign a contract. If the partner didn't sign it, the contract expires. The sender sees "You sent the contract", and the partner sees "Contract review has ended". The trade stays active: the listing owner can send a new contract.
What happens if my partner goes silent after signing?
After the contract is signed, the trade closes on a timer: after 1 hour for items and after 12 hours for services. If your partner didn't leave a review, the site creates a positive review for them and completes the trade.
What happens to the Credits?
If the contract expired or the trade closed, the reserved Credits are returned to the buyer. The refund may arrive with a slight delay.
Does an expired trade affect my score?
An expired trade doesn't count toward "Success Trades" and doesn't lower your level. But for the listing owner, the site measures "Avg response time". Long silence from the owner worsens this metric.
What should I do if my partner doesn't respond?

While the trade has an active contract, you can't decline the trade. Wait for the contract to expire: it takes 3 minutes.
