How do I change my username?
You change your ArcBase username in "Profile" → "Personal Information". A username must be 3 to 13 characters long: lowercase Latin letters, digits, and the characters . _ -. You can change your username once every 30 days, because your partners see it in their trade history.

How to change your username
- 1.
Sign in to the site with Discord.
- 2.
Click your avatar in the top-right corner. The "Profile" panel opens.
- 3.
Click "Personal Information".

- 4.
In the "Username" block, click the pencil icon.

- 5.
Enter the new username and click the check mark icon.

- 6.
In the "Change username?" window, click "Change username".

The new username appears in your profile right away. In listings, trades, and chat, it updates the next time the page loads.
What username can you choose?
The length is 3 to 13 characters.
You can use lowercase Latin letters a–z, digits 0–9, and the characters . _ -
The username must start and end with a letter or a digit.
The characters . _ - cannot appear next to each other.
You can put no more than 4 digits in a row.
The site converts capital letters to lowercase: "John" is saved as "john".
The username must be available. If another player has already taken it, the site shows an error.
For example, "raider_77" and "arc.trader" are fine. "Ra" (fewer than 3 characters), "_raider" (starts with _), and "trader12345" (5 digits in a row) are not.
Why can't you change your username again?
You can change your username once every 30 days. The period counts from your last change. If 30 days have not passed yet, the site shows the message "You can change your username again on" with a date. Your first username change is available right away.
Your partners see your username in their trade history. So check the new username before you confirm: you can fix it only after 30 days.
Why doesn't your Discord name pass the check?
Discord allows capital letters, spaces, emoji, and other characters in names. ArcBase rules are stricter. When you first sign in, the site creates a username from your Discord name on its own: it converts it to Latin lowercase letters, removes extra characters, and shortens it to 13 characters. If that username is already taken, the site adds a number to it. That is why your ArcBase username can differ from your Discord name. A new username must fully follow the rules above.
