What is an Embark ID and how do I set it?

Embark ID is your ARC Raiders identifier in the "Name#1234" format, for example "Trader#1234". On ArcBase, only your trade partner sees it, and only after the contract is signed: your partner uses it to add you in the game for the exchange. You can set your Embark ID in "Profile" → "Personal Information".

To change your Embark ID, click the pencil again. To remove it, click the trash icon in the "Embark ID" block. It is removed right away, with no confirmation. You can change your Embark ID at any time.

What format should your Embark ID be in?

  • First the name: 2 to 16 characters, with no spaces and no # sign.

  • Then the # sign and exactly 4 digits.

  • Example: "Trader#1234".

If the format is wrong, the site shows the error "Embark ID must look like DisplayName#1234." One Embark ID can be set on only one ArcBase account.

Where do you find your Embark ID in ARC Raiders?

  1. 1.

In the ARC Raiders main menu, click "+" next to your avatar above the "Play" button. The friends and party menu opens.

  2. 2.

Click "Manage Embark ID" in the bottom left. The Embark ID website opens.

  3. 3.

Sign in with your platform: Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, or Xbox.

  4. 4.

Who sees your Embark ID?

Only your trade partner, and only after the contract is signed. The trade chat shows a signed contract card with the line "Embark ID to add your mate:" and your Embark ID. There is a copy button next to it. Other players do not see your Embark ID in listings or on your profile.

ArcBase does not check that the Embark ID belongs to you. Before an exchange in the game, make sure you added the right player.

What happens if you don't set your Embark ID?

The trade goes through, but your partner sees "Not specified" in the contract card. In that case, send your Embark ID in the trade chat. To save time, set your Embark ID in advance.
